Reflective post Final

1. I've done a lot of dark writing. Which I admit was pretty weird for me. But the one I am proud of was the one with Shaw. His story was the one I am most proud of. I really got comfortable with this class at the end. Starting to show more of my love for video games. I should have renamed the picture of the day thing "Game picture of the day." I really liked how I got comments on all of my work. No matter how short it was.
2. I've read a lot of cool things. A lot of cool dark writings come from Ashley and I really like liana's blog.
3. When I was setting up my blog. I started out something like my Tumblr. But then I started to show more of my love for gaming and TV shows. So, I based it off one of my favorite villains. In Borderlands, Marley is a skag. Marley has a brother named Mo. Who will let himself on fire and run AT YOU. And some people call themselves metal. While Marley, runs around and tries to trap you in one place while Mo burns you at the stake that Marley made. Skag Gully is where they live. So, I tried to make my blog look as close as possible to it.I may even make a blog like this one just for me.
4. In my journal I have wrote many little writings about things I like. Some reviews and such. I'm not a huge fan of writing by hand so I may not keep up a journal.
5. "When I started to play this game I felt like I was at a mall in Christmas waiting to purchase pencils. Ryse: Son of loading Rome is a new gen game historical slasher game. I love history games but this was not very accurate. But I have yet to find a game that is. The camera was like a drunk bird with fire ants on him. And you can command an army. But you really don't say anything. Just were I put my cover. Makes you feel like Stonewall Jackson, doesn't it? At least it wasn't as bad as Assassin's Creed Revelation with the ONE LANE battle. But heaven forbid they make three lanes like League of Legends."
6. "Without warning a white blur appeared and slammed the door closed. He was so taken by surprise he fell backwards on to his tail bone. That was a woman. From what little his memory had of it, she was white as ivory and had no eyes. This couldn’t be real. No way.
When he finally rose from his fall he tried to open the door again. Locked. As it had been before."
7. I'm hoping I can start reviewing video games. It seems fun and something I love to do.
8. All I can say is, NEVER let anyone tell you you can't. Do what you love no matter who tells you, you can't.
Happy holidays! And new years! See you around and thank you!

Fast Breaks

My mom and I would always get these. They remind me of my mom but I can never find them anywhere anymore. So, if I find any I always buy one. They are one of my favorite candy bars. I just wish I could find them more often.

This is...

This is me home
small and warm
with my room
full of posters and games
Fredrick the one eyed crow
Renard the (stuffed) dog

This is me
Short and sleepy
with a passion for many things

This is my family
Small like me
7 strong
Been through a lot of losses in the family
but still going

Photos from 2000

This is a photo of a kola being saved by an Australian firefighter. After a fire. IT reminded be of when I was in 7th grade. In my neighbor hood there was a fire a good distance from my home. If the fire department wasn't so close, I'm sure the fire would have spread. There was a kid inside the house too. No one was hurt but still a scary thing.

Nursery

The Church was a nice place. From what I am told. But I’ve never went to church myself so I wouldn’t know. There was a church around where I lived. It didn’t feel safe. Like the churches I hear about. But it was abandoned. Some locals said it was out of money. But others said it was because something evil lived there. I had to know.
Later that day I made my way over there. It was dark and stormy. I had opened the door and got in. I shut the door behind me. I wasn’t supposed to be in here. But the place smelled old and gross. Mold and rust everywhere. It was in a huge place. The rows and rows of wood seats. The windows on the walls broken. The glass on the floor. The cross on the wall had fallen and broken. And the candles, lit. No one was here but me. I watched them and then just like that, they went out. Maybe the wind?
I walked down and down the hallway on the left. It was a nursery. The beds lined up on the wall, empty. All but one. It had a blanket on it. It seemed to have something under it. I reached out to grab the cloth but just as my fingertips brushed the blanket. I heard footsteps. Thump thump thump. The footsteps where getting closer and closer. I had to get out. I ran out and into the room next door. The thumping stopped after I left the room. Then, the door next door opened. Softly.
I stood next to the wall, listening. No sound was heard until, a baby stared to cry. Then I heard the sound of a music box. But the crying didn’t stop. It kept playing. The song was Pop goes the weasel. The song stopped. And the crying had stopped. I then can’t describe what I heard. But it sounded as if, something was being eaten. Then it stopped and the door to the nursery closed with a click.
I slowly came out of the room. I had to leave. I jogged my way back to the main door. But when I got there, there were men in white sheets. Like, a child who put a sheet on and called themselves a ghost. They were chanting. I couldn’t understand it. But when I entered, they all looked up at me. All at once. They watched me the whole walk down the middle lane. The heads on their shoulders turned to me. Even when I was behind them.
I then ran for the door. But it shut before I could escape. I was in a panic now, I ran for the door to the left again. I ran all the way. I opened and dashed in the first door I could get in. I hid in the closet in there. And I heard it. The sound of the music box. I was in the nursery. Then, I heard the baby start to cry and the thumping came back. It was so close that I couldn’t run anymore.
Slowly, the door opened. The hallway was dark and I saw nothing. I took this chance to get through the window. But it was stuck. I started to hit the window. The pit pat of bare wet feet on title floor. Finally, I ran at the window and out. I fell out and I heard a scream. I ran. And ran. And ran. I stopped when I reached my house.
Days later I was asleep. And from the bathroom, I heard something.
All around the mulberry bush
The monkey chased the weasel;
The monkey thought 'twas all in good fun.
And the sound, of a baby about to cry.

Halloween questions

  • The best costume I ever wore was…
    • My plague Doctor costume. It's one of my favorites and the 2nd best. The Best one I have is Ezio from Assassin's Creed. I just got it this year and it looks great.
I just got it this year and it looks great. I am going to two Halloween parties. And will be Ezio at both maybe. I get really nervous in new costumes. I always get self-conscious.
  • What are your favorite Halloween treats? What is the best one you ever received?
    • I loved getting chocolate like Reese's and M&M's. But I one year I was a werewolf and went to this one house just down the way. The lady there was really mean and kinda harsh. But she loved my costume so much she gave me a full sized butterfinger. I was so happy.
I ate it on the way home. Also my first year trick or treating alone. I was really young to be doing that but I think I did fine. I also got a bunch of candy corn and other treats like that. I gave some of it to a kid who had lost his candy. I felt bad. No candy on halloween is like having a Christmas without gifts.
  • My favorite Halloween was the time I…
    • My favorite halloween so far was last year. Last year I didn't go trick-or-treating but stayed home and answered the door as the Plague Doctor. I told the kids that there was a nasty plague in this house. It would hurt those who got it. But I was here to get rid of it. I told them that the candy was magic and if they took it it would protect them from the plague. Some little girl also grabbed my mask and stuff. Which was fine. But the halloween I was a werewolf so little girl was lost from her mom so I helped her find her mother. She kept calling me wolfy.
